708 E. 5th Street (where they lived) was torn down with other tenements to
create green space in the neighborhood. Interesting that Henny is listed at
"Yety."

By the 1910 census, they had moved around the corner to Avenue D, where her
father set up his store. When we lived in the New York Metropolitan area, I
made my family visit the building. It is not the best neighborhood, so I
think we stayed in the car. People were wondering why we were there!
