Well, there are a couple of things going on here. First, where is
the Debian maintainer? The bugs are over 60 days old. Probably all that
would have been required is some kind of response saying something about
what's happened below...
Second, these bugs are essentially the dropping of support for AXP
and m68K, at least according to
http://www.debian.org/Bugs/db/pa/lghc4.html

Some online discussion with Debian maintainers revealed to me
that the Debian project makes machines of varying architectures available
to developers for porting purposes. This could revive the m68K and AXP
ports. On the other hand, if the maintainership could be transferred to
someone who answers his mail more promptly than 90 days from when it's
sent to him, if at all, things could very well be fixed. The ghc4 package,
while not part of the general release, is still in the unstable archives.
