CCA is a dependency of Euterpea, as listed here:

http://hackage.haskell.org/package/Euterpea-1.0.0

Please run `cabal update` and `cabal install euterpea` and
paste the whole error here so it's easier for the maintainers to
diagnose the bug.

P.S.: I am putting Paul Hudak in Cc, to make him aware of this bug report.

Hi Niklas,

I'm one of the current maintainers of Euterpea. There are two CCA-related
troubleshooting tips listed at the bottom of the Euterpea download
instructions page:

http://haskell.cs.yale.edu/euterpea/download/

Scroll all the way down; they are the last two troubleshooting items. If
neither of those solves the issue, then please send me the full transcript
of the failing installation.

2015-04-13 Thread Niklas Reppel
Hey everybody,

it seems that the issue is purely within the CCA and UISF(?) parts, as
it happens
when i try to install those separately as well.

Seems to be a problem with the new Template Haskell (sorry, i'm really
no expert here ...).

I already downgraded to ghc 7.8.4, which works fine for now, so i
currently can't reproduce the
messages, but for CCA it was:

The CCA-related output is:
