[~zuston], Thank you for thinking about this and filing JIRA. We have already
worked on this as part of HDFS-15289
This JIRA aimed mainly two key tasks, 1. make viewfs extended to support any
scheme and 2. reading mountable from central place. You may want to look at
this specific JIRA HDFS-15306 under HDFS-15289. If you want to make any
improvements, please feel free to file subtasks under HDFS-15289.
