Since many methods changed inside
org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.server.namenode.FSDirectory had a large refactor between
2.6 to 3.0, I wrote my own helper functions for convenience when merging with
trunk. This makes rolling patch to hadoop 2.6 more simple. We can clean up
and use shared method in a separate jira that won't be rolled back to 2.6
versions.
