female roommate sought asap

2010-05-26 Thread Jasmin Nof

Hello all,

I’m looking for a non-smoking female roommate for this year's
conference. I’ll be checking in on Sunday and checking out on Wednesday.
I have not yet reserved a room, so I hope to hear from someone soon.

Thanks! Jasmin

RE: RDA Testing

2010-05-26 Thread Biella, Joan
I'm an RDA tester at LC--will begin training (at least introduction to RDA
Toolkit) tomorrow, with lots more to come. Of course I'll report anything that
seems useful and/or pertinent to us to the group, but truly useful things may
not come up till after the three months of "training" which precede the three
months of actual "testing," which are to begin in October. (And don't forget
that the official position is that LC may not adopt RDA in the end ... the
future is shrouded in mystery, as always.)

Heb-NACOers,

I know that some of your institutions are doing RDA testing. Are any of you
going to be personally involved? It will be interesting to hear how it works
with Hebrew script. I’m sure that those of us who are not testing would love
to hear reports (very unofficial, of course!).
