On this map it looks like the hurd went away before lites? Yes, the date is correct as far as beginning of development is concerned. The first version of the Hurd, 0.1, was released much later and is shown in the chart to. What I am suspicious about is the arrow from Mach 4.0 to the Hurd 0.2 release. I don't think that there was a lot of code flow in this direction, but on the other hand, I don't really know. Thanks for pointing this out. I hope there will be a Hurd 0.3 soon on this chart :) Marcus
