In fact, you  have a bunch of companies working in that space, e.g.
duostack , nodeJsCloud, and nodejitsu.

I am having fun with a nodejs game that a i'm working on, so far

Bundler resolves dependencies super well - if you aren't using Bundler 
on your other projects, that's why.

than $100, and it works just as well, IMO.

But I'm using bundler on all of my projects. Believe me, they are resolved
on my local system. The problem is with Heroku -- just for this particular
app -- not figuring out that they have been resolved. I don't know what
about my Gemfile.lock file that is throwing Heroku into a tailspin of having
to reinstall everything. I'd be glad to paste my lock file if you'd be
interested.

Yes, the heroku deploy process is very slow,
I also have encountered this problem even don't change any gemfile
dependencies.
