504 Gateway Timeout / nginx 0.6.32
I've been getting this error: 504 Gateway Timeout / nging 0.6.32 when trying to my view application at constitution.herokugarden.com, I thought this was a common error that other people were getting but then I created a new test application (refattest.herokuagrden.com) and when I viewed it, it worked fine so this problem is obviously specific to my first application (constitution.herokugarden.com). Anyone know what causes this error? --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Heroku group. Anyone know what's going on yet? On May 17, 12:25 am, Adam Alexander adama...@gmail.com wrote: I'm also having issues - trying to connect to herokugarden's git server. Very happy with the innovative services here, hopefully it's a simple fix so the heroku staff can enjoy the rest of the weekend. Re: Rails 2.3 support
So does that mean you've stalled all development on the online editor? That's a shame. I think as much as perfecting the deployment process is a leap forward for the rails framework, so is your online IDE. There is no reason why a standard Ruby on Rails IDE as powerful as RadRails or even Visual Studio cannot be ported to the cloud. It will revolutionize web development and will be the main driving force behind the adoption of the awesomeness that is Rails. It'd be wise to balance your focus on both heroku.com and the online IDE. On Mar 18, 3:30 pm, Morten Bagai mor...@heroku.com wrote: On Mar 17, 2009, at 7:30 PM, morgoth wrote: I'm on herokugarden. Why it doesn't haveRails2.3.2? Heroku Garden is an older version of our platform that features the web based editor. At the moment, our development effort is focused on making the latest generation of our platform at Heroku.com into the ultimate deployment solution for Ruby web apps. I have also question about heroku - I need another blessing for my app (when I want to switch from herokugarden to heroku) - is it for free? Yes, it's absolutely free to switch and just like Heroku Garden, there's a basic free account level on Heroku.com. You can read more on how to switch here:http://herokugarden.com/transition/move.
