IDE Integration - Jetbrains Heroku Plugin - Please provide Feedback
Hi, hope many of you have fun at Waza today. Unfortunately I can't make it, nonetheless I would like to introduce the Heroku Plugin that I created over the Holidays for all of the Jetbrains IDE products. It builds upon the heroku API java libraries provided by Scott, James and Naaman. The plugin works not only with IntelliJ IDEA (community (free) and ultimate) but also for all the other IDE's like RubyMine, PyCharm (python), PhpStorm and WebStorm (Javascript, Node, HMTL). All of those IDE's have a 30 day trial. I would love to get some feedback for the plugin, for its usability and functions. You can find it in the Plugin List in the IDE settings (Browse Repositories) and also online: http://bit.ly/heroku-plugin Current features: * set and retrieve API Token * List Apps, Create and Destroy Applications * Upload Keys * connect your current project to a Heroku Application, set git remotes etc. * show application info * show processes * show/add/remove add-ons * show application log * show/add/remote config variables * show/add/remove collaborators * show/rollback releases A screenshot is here: http://plugins.intellij.net/preview/popup/?sid=11894&pid=6659 Thanks a lot, MIchael -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Heroku" group. Thank you! I think I'll use that. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Heroku" group. To post to this group, send email to heroku@googlegroups.com. Re: IDE?
Actually, If you stored the files in a redis/memcached solution, and then pushed them to S3, it could technically work. Not sure how well though... Re: IDE?
It was moved to herokugarden.com, but alas. It is no longer with us. And if you guys don't bring back the service from the dead, I'd love to see how the source worked on the back end. Could you host something like that on Heroku? Guess it would probably need a read/write file system. --Keenan On Mar 13, 2011, at 4:03 PM, szh wrote: > I heard that there used to be a Heroku editor so you could actually make your > apps in the cloud too. IDE?
I heard that there used to be a Heroku editor so you could actually make your apps in the cloud too.
