i heard you guys last night doing the Machaut/J de Cambrai and the CSM (A madre
de deus). You-all ROCKED!! as they say in the vern-ack-ular. WHoever is in the
NYC area and can go hear them, lend your support to a fine medieval ensemble. I

Also--Lotus Festival of World Music begins tonight in Bloomington, if anyone is
in the south Indiana-Illinois-Ohio-KY area and wants to hear great music, come
by! Vaasen (sorry, can't do the a-thing) opened last night, and a bunch of
other great groups are here from all over the place, and there is lots of free

If you're in the New York area, Ensemble La Rota will be performing next
Wednesday evening (Oct. 11) as part of the finals of the Early Music America
Medieval/Renaissance competition. The concert will take place at Corpus
Christi Church (529 West 121st St., New York, NY), beginning at 7 pm and
entrance is free!
