tidak dapat menyenaraikannya satu persatu di sini, umpamanya taklimat, 
menyambut pegawai baru, meraikan kenaikan pangkat, perpindahan, persaraan, 
pertunangan, pernikahan, ulang tahun perkahwinan, hari jadi, majlis ceramah, 
dan sebagainya. Walaupun begitu, gurindam yang terdapat dalam buku ini dapat 
disesuaikan dan diolah semula untuk digunakan dalam majlis-majlis itu.
 
 Seni membawa acara majlis adalah suatu kemahiran, oleh itu seseorang pembawa 
acara majlis memerlukan banyak pengetahuan dan kemahiran berkomunikasi dan 
berbahasa. Salah satu kemahiran yang mesti dimiliki oleh pembawa majlis adalah 
kemahiran menggunakan bahasa berirama iaitu salah satu seni bahasa ungkapan 
tradisional. 
  
 Ungkapan-ungkapan tradisional membawa nilai yang tinggi dalam kehidupan 
berbudaya. Dalam ungkapan tradisional terkandung nilai-nilai masyarakat yang 
berlandaskan agama dan kepercayaan yang diwarisi daripada generasi ke generasi. 
Walaupun bahasa berirama mengandungi penggunaan gaya bahasa tradisional namun 
ia dapat memanfaatkan perkataan-perkataan moden supaya sesuai dengan konteks 
majlis moden semasa.
  
 Bahasa berirama mengungkapkan kebijaksanaan sepanjang masa, iaitu warisan 
daripada zaman lampau, oleh itu kita dengan mudah dapat memahaminya. Ini 
membolehkannya difahami oleh hadirin daripada pelbagai lapisan dan pengetahuan. 
  
 Bahasa berirama dapat memperindah gaya bahasa Pembawa Majlis dan menjadi 
strategi baik bagi menyatakan arahan, kritikan, nasihat dan pedoman yang 
sekiranya dinyatakan dalam bahasa biasa akan menjatuhkan maruah orang yang 
dimaksudkan dan merosakkan perhubungan sosial. Di sinilah terletaknya kelebihan 
penggunaan bahasa berirama dalam majlis, bahkan dapat menjadi seni yang dapat 
menambah keberkesanan tugasnya. Bahasa berirama itu ialah bahasa yang 
dilahirkan oleh budaya tinggi. Ia menyatakan kebijaksanaan dalam mengungkapkan 
kecendekiaan. 
  
 Tidak semua orang dapat mengungkapkan butir-butir fikirannya dengan 
menggunakan gaya bahasa yang halus dan yang indah. Melalui bahasa berirama kita 
dapat menyampaikan maksud dengan cara yang lebih berkesan. 
  
 Bahasa berirama adalah suatu jenis keindahan kesenian. Walaupun isi 
kandungannya berupa kritikan tajam dan pedas, disebabkan kritikan itu 
disampaikan dengan menggunakan bahasa berirama, maksud dapat disampaikan dan 
diterima sebagai mesej halus. Walaupun menyampaikan yang sesuatu yang tidak 
disenangi, tetapi gaya bahasa yang halus dapat diterima. Kritikan dapat 
diungkapkan dengan tidak menyatakan sebarang nama, atau menyatakan apa yang 
salah dengan spesifik. Ungkapan tersebut tetap lunak pada pendengaran walaupun 
negatif. Sebarang kritikan tidaklah sangat dirasakan dikritik, semuanya 
dilembutkan oleh kesan indah bahasa berirama. 
  
 Bahasa berirama mudah difahami. Bagi orang yang baru sahaja buat pertama kali 
mendengar ungkapan bahasa berirama dia sudah dapat menduga maksudnya sambil 
menikmati keindahannya. Para pendengar dapat membuat kesimpulan yang tepat dan 
bernas. 
  
 Bahasa berirama adalah unsur bahasa klasik. Unsur klasik membawa kuasa dan 
autoriti yang tidak dicabar lagi kebenarannya. Ini dapat meningkatkan 
keberkesanan pembawa acara dalam majlis dengan meningkatkan karisma pembawa 
acara dalam sebuah majlis.
  
 Ada beberapa jenis bahasa berirama, iaitu talibun, pantun, syair, gurindam, 
teromba, seloka, dan lain-lain. Semua ungkapan ini, yang diwariskan kepada oleh 
generasi lalu dapat digunakan untuk fungsi-fungsi yang tersenarai di bawah. 
Malah, ungkapan baru dapat dibentuk bagi memenuhi sebarang konteks dan situasi 
baru.
  
 Ungkapan-ungkapan dalam buku ini, kecuali beberapa rangkap, adalah 
ungkapan-ungkapan yang dicipta khusus bagi membolehkan bahasa berirama 
digunakan dalam majlis-majlis kontemporari.

2thn lepas pun pnh kena chicken pox..mmg habis berparut kat muka 
ngan bdn..tapi ma saya try sapu ngan kulit pisang emas,kat muka 
pakai bedak sejuk campur air asam jawa..tak pun gi farmasi look for 
vitamin e oil..vitamin e yang makan pun blh jd oil..ambik yg dalam 
kapsul tu pecahkan n myknya sapu pada kawasan berparut...yg pnting 
cari ape saja unsur2 bervitamin e...gudlak...

   UN Report Says Afghan Government Protect Drug Traffickers 


KABUL (AP)--Afghanistan's criminal underworld has compromised key
government officials who protect drug traffickers, allowing a record
opium trade that won't be stamped out for a generation to flourish, an
ominous new U.N. report released Tuesday said.

The fight against opium production has so far achieved only limited
success, mostly because of corruption, the joint report from the World
Bank and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime said.

The findings show a "probability of high-level (government) involvement"
in drugs, said Doris Buddenberg, the UNODC's Afghanistan representative
and co- editor of the report.

The report in particular presented a strong indictment of the Ministry
of Interior, which runs the country's police, and said Afghanistan's
criminal underworld couldn't operate without the support of the
political "upperworld."

"The majority of police chiefs are involved," one senior police officer
told the report's authors on condition of anonymity. "If you are not,
you will be threatened to be killed and replaced."

Without naming officials, the report said it was possible that powerful
interests in the Ministry of Interior are appointing district police
chiefs "to both protect and promote criminal interests."

The result is a "complex pyramid of protection and patronage,
effectively providing state protection to criminal trafficking
activities."

The spokesman for the counter-narcotics ministry said there is no
evidence that high-ranking officials are involved in Afghanistan's drug
trade.

"If there is evidence we welcome the evidence and the arrest will be on
the spot," Zalmai Afzali said.

Poppy cultivation and the heroin it produces has become a major problem
in this war-torn country, providing funds for a rising Taliban
insurgency that has caused the deaths of more than 3,700 people this
year.

Opium cultivation in Afghanistan rose 49% this year to 6,100 tons -
enough to make 610 tons of heroin, nearly a third more than the world's
drug users consume. The harvest provided more than 90% of the world's
opium supply and was worth more than US$3.1 billion.

Gen. Khodaidad, Afghanistan's deputy minister for counter-narcotics,
told The Associated Press that next year's harvest will be as large as
last year's in several key southern provinces where Taliban militants
have a heavy presence. A U.S. official has also told AP he expects next
year's yield to be about the same.

The 210-page report, titled "Afghanistan's Drug Industry," is a first-
of-its- kind comprehensive assessment of the country's drug production,
from poppy- growing farmers to international drug traffickers.

Barnett Rubin, director of studies and senior fellow at New York
University's Center on International Cooperation, said his research has
led to many of the same conclusions as the report's.

"There are many cases where honest prosecutors or police chiefs try to
do something about corruption, and they say they receive phone calls
from very high officials in Kabul saying to leave the people alone,"
said Rubin, an expert on Afghanistan.

Like the report, Rubin said he couldn't name names. "Getting indictable
evidence is very, very difficult," he said. "I'm not mentioning any
individual's name to you because I don't want to be sued or bumped off."

Interior Ministry spokesman Zemeri Bashary said the ministry was
reforming its process for selecting police chiefs.

"At the moment we don't have any problems with our police chiefs," he
said. " If the government is saying that poppy cultivation is
prohibited, so they are obliged to implement the orders of the
government."

Instead of sustained declines in cultivation, successful efforts to
reduce poppy growing in one province often leads to increases elsewhere,
the report found.

"History teaches us that it will take a generation to render Afghanistan
opium-free," said Antonio Maria Costa, executive director of UNODC.
"Those driving the drug industry must be brought to justice and
officials who support it sacked."

Poppies take up less than 4% of the total cultivated area in
Afghanistan, and most districts do not grow opium, the report said. But
the US$3.1 billion export value of last year's crop accounted for around
one-third of total economic activity in the country, and about 13% of
Afghans are involved in the trade.

The report says there is also a need to curtail demand. The major
consumers of Afghanistan's opium are Iran, Pakistan, the U.K., Italy,
Spain and Germany, Buddenberg said.

Rubin said the report shows the international community's approach to
the drug fight here is wrong.

"It should focus its efforts to remove big drug money from the political
process," he said. "But instead

Saya memberi pendapat mudah..bercinta tak diharuskan
lama-lama, tetapi berkahwin adalah diharuskan. Dalam
hal ini tanya terus terang pada lelaki itu betulkah
dia cinta dan sanggup kahwin. kalau sudah cinta dan
sanggup mengambil saudari sebagai isteri maka
selesailah masalah. suami berkahwin dua adalah
diharuskan, tetapi bercinta keluar ke sana ke sini
tanpa orang lain adalah haram. Cuba jauhi dan jangan
jadikan amalan kerana banyak buruknya. Cinta itu mesti
dipupuk dan dipandu dengan iman dan Islam. Tanpa iman
dan Islam kita hanyut dibawa arus nafsu dan ajaran
karut.

Untuk mencari seorang isteri adalah sukar, tetapi
kekasih sementara untuk suka-suka tidaklah sesukar
mana. Jangan anda jadi mangsa sudahlah. Ikhlas saya
katakan saya juga bercita-cita mencari seorang lagi
isteri. Isteri pertama saya telah izinkan, saya ingat
ketika saya lulus masters dulu,dia lafazkan keizinan
itu, tetapi sehingga kini dah lulus Ph.D pun belum
saya jumpa calon isteri. calon isteri bagi saya amat
sukar dicari kerana ianya mahu sehidup semati akan
bersama sehingga ke shurga firdaus. Tapi kalau nak
suka-suka besok pun agaknya saya boleh cari.

kalau dah betul suka dan sanggup bincnglah soal kahwin
dan bukan main-main. Itulah jalan agama dan yang
terbaik. Jangan bermain dengan hukum: yang haram itu
pasti buruk, yang halal itu pasti baik. Yang kita cari
adalah keredhaan Allah; Hidup didunia tidak lama,
akhirat jua yang kekal abadi.

atau tumbuk badam tu sampai halus of coz campur air skit (lebih kurang 
pekat mcm krim muka) pastu, sapu pada bahagian yg berparut sahaja.  
ingat bukan satu muka.  lakukan setiap hari pd waktu mlm semasa nak 
masuk tido- cuci esok pagi...

lebih mujarab sekiranya dilakukan immediately after kene chickpox... 
tapi nie dah almost sebulan... and you pon dah try products 
dipasaran...

anyway, no harm in trying coz its not chemicalised product.  
Insyaallah, tapi ingat, tidak sume product bersesuain tuk setiap 
individu, sekiranya trdapat tanda2 yg luar biasa, dinasihatkan supaya 
stop.

The human community must wake up. The sufferings of the Iraqi people are
tragic and criminal. Whole cities are under siege: Fallujah, Sammara,
Kirkuk, Haditha, Hit, Ramadi. Latifiyah, Tarmiyah, Baaquba, Moqdadiyah,
Buhruz, Madaen, Abualkhasib, Al-Zubeir, Fahamma, Tel Afar, Husaiba …

Entire suburbs of Baghdad are attacked by the militias and police of the
sectarian government: Adhamiyah, Al-Jihad, Ghazaliyah, Al-Amiriyah, Al-
Huriyah, Al-Suleikh, Al-Saidiyah, Haifa Street, Al-Baladiyat, Al-Durah,
Palestine Street …

The attacks aim to stop the spreading resistance to occupation. Now the
resistance is everywhere: in the north, middle and the south. It
encompasses all the Iraqi populations: Arabs, Shias, Sunnis, Turkomen,
seculars, Kurds, Assyrians and other Christians, and Sabbits and
Yaziids.

The occupation has no future in Iraq. Though defeated, the occupation
refuses to accept its defeat until it has tried all. It seems the US
administration thinks a civil war will save its reputation and plans.

US strategists try to forget that killing civilians is a political and
moral crime and banned under international law, whoever the doer and
whatever the cause. Qualifying civilian deaths as civil war does not
lift the responsibility of the local, regional or international forces
that are responsible before law for stopping it.

The genocidal killings, the collective punishments, and the crimes
against humanity committed over recent days in Baghdad by the sectarian
militias participating in the government, and with the participation of
the government’s police and the complicity of the occupation, must be
stopped.

The US, instead of accepting the evident reality that only the national
popular resistance — armed, political and civil — has the power and the
legitimacy to bring stability, democracy and peace to Iraq, is trying to
escape this reality by diverting eyes from the tragic situation to its
diplomatic moves with Syria and Iran.

The US cannot escape the reality of its responsibility in the
destruction of Iraq as a nation and state. It is the US that tried to
build, since the invasion, an artificial Iraqi state based not on
citizenship — the guiding attribute of all modern states, including Iraq
since 1925 — but a state based on ethnic and sectarian principles.

The US forgot that Iraq cannot be divided; that its Arabo-Muslim
identity is a cultural and geopolitical reality, and that a modern state
cannot be built but on the principle of citizenship free from all
discrimination. Its talk of civil war is hypocritical. It does
everything to ignite it.

The entire international community, and especially the neighbours of
Iraq, have a moral, political and economic interest in yielding Iraq to
Iraqis, in defending its unity and integrity, and helping Iraq rid
itself of the occupation and realise the sovereignty of its land,
resources and destiny.

Urgent action!

We call on all institutions, governmental and non-governmental, the
world over to oppose the escalating terror confronting the Iraqi
people.

Trade unions, educational institutions, parliaments, rights groups and
ordinary people can raise their voices to stop the gathering tragedy as
the occupation and its local clients wager the life of Iraqis for their
political skins.

Only the end of occupation can end these atrocities. End it now!

Penentuan sesuatu yang baik adalah dari kandungan dalam perut iaitu apa yang 
kita makan.Kalau makanan yang berisi dalam perut kita bersih suci lagi halal 
maka baiklah semua anggota ,,,pendengaran,penglihatan,akal,lidah dan hati.
Kalau kita berzikir berjuta pun tapi jika tak menjaga makanan kita terutama 
kalau orang ra'ikan kita (belanja)
maka kelabu juga hati nanti.Gafalah akhirnya !

Ada tokey2 non muslim ni yang gantung tanda halal jakim, tapi sebenarnya yang 
digantung tu cuma status halal untuk certain2 benda saja. contohnya ayam. Ini 
banyak berlaku sekarng. Mereka ni cuma sekadar nak kaburkan mata kita saja. 
Jadi pastikan tengok sijil tu betul2 dan kalau ragu2 dengan sijil tu, jangan 
berdiam diri... kena fi sabilillah.
 
antara kes yang saya pernah jumpa, last year masa office nak buat staf party. 
maka kami yang jadi AJK ni bahagi2kan tugas dan saya AJK makanan. Ada salah 
sorang staff (chinese) yang ada restoran dan dia pun bagi quotation. malah 
mengaku halal. siap bagi statement 'ramai melayu datang makan' dan 'ada sijil 
halal jakim'. bila rujuk pada jakim rupa2nya cuma AYAM saja yang halal.. means 
sumber ayam.. bukannya seluruh operasi dan produk makanan kat situ. jadi Melayu 
yang duk makan di situ memang sah sah makan benda yang tak pasti status 
halalnya (ni kes tengok sijil halal jakim dari jauh je la ni).
 
tahun ni pun sama juga (ada kawan didalam AJK mentioned yang nak ambil caterer 
dari restoran cina). nasib baik kami tahu dan protes. at last dapat juga 
caterer melayu. siap mengaku halal lagi. tapi bila kami check kat jakim, tak 
ada  sijil.
 
Semoga JAKIM dapat perkemaskan lagi sistem pensijilan dan penguatkuasaan. . 
muslim di malaysia makin teruk ni..
duk makan benda tak pasti halal..dah la ramai yang kurang prihatin.. tengok 
melayu makan je dah consider halal. tengok ada Ha lam alif lam je dah consider

Harini saya ngan sorang kawan g makan kat Kopitiam Uncle John yg baru bukak kat 
S&M tu. 
Bg sesape yg gemar kan kopi kat situ la buleh dpt kopi cam kopi kita minum kat 
kg2 dulu. 
Skarang ni kopi kapal api pun tak sebest kopi kat kg dulu2. Saya mmg suka kopi. 

Ni bukan 1st time sy makan kat Uncle John Kopitiam tu. Dah masuk 4 kali 
rasenyer. OK back to 
the purpose i'm writing this email. Sebaik saje duduk, sorang waiter melayu tu 
berebut nak layan 
saye ngan kawan saye tu. Dia ckp kat waiter cina tu "takpe yg ni biar saya 
layan". Sambil bg menu 
diselitkan sekeping kertas yg bertulis lebih kurang camni "jgn order hidangan 
yg ade ayam. ayam kat sini 
dorang beli kat petaling street. Order la selain dari ayam"pastu sy pandang 
dia utk kepastian. Dia 
pun sambung "betul kak kebetulan saya ikut chef smalam pegi beli ayam". utk tak 
nak nmpk kan sgt 
yg dia tu bg info, sy ngan kawan pun order la kopi ngan half boiled egg ngan 
roti bakar. 

Saya teperanjat coz ade jgk org yg masih prihatin dan sanggup jeopardize (betul 
ke eja ni) keje dia 
demi utk kebaikan kita bersama. Kalau tgk muka mamat ni mmg x caye la dia ambik 
berat psl hal2 camni.

Assalamualaikum 

1- The moderators will hide email of the senders to hidayahnet. As such, if you 
wish to include your email (maybe for others to reply to you), please include 
your email address in the body part of your email.

2- If you wish to promote your business, please only send no more than one mail 
per week and please combine all promotional emails in one email (rather than 
sending 3 or 4 emails promoting different products.

3- For those interested to reply to particular business advertisement, please 
email direct to the sender, and not to the egroup.

4- Be careful before promoting any external islamic links as it could be 
developed by non-muslim aiming to spread false teaching. If any doubt, please 
ask the moderator to help.

As a reminder for those sending our forwarding emails. To avoid those msg 
becoming junk and go unread, and becoming big in size unnecessarily, I would 
appreciate if sender put some effort in making it nicer and more attractive to 
reader. Some suggestions include:
 
- cut and paste the main message/content, (leaving behind the long thread/list 
of previous senders). However, pls include the source of message, usually the 
original sender (the first sender!) name (and if possible email and other 
details which deem important).
 
- pls also make sure that the "subject" of the email is not long winded, such 
as: [other group]fwd[other group]Prayer at the time of war ...etc. Please only 
put the topic of the msg, and delete the rest (eg, subject = Prayer at the time 
of war)
 
- also, usually we forget to remove the unnessary advert by yahoo and content 
from previous egroup (such as footnote) at the bottom of the email. Kindly 
remove them as they are irrelevant.
 
Hopefully the above, can make your email looks tidy and reduces the size 
significantly, and most importantly, I will have no objection in APPROVING them.
 
Above is only suggestion, and I welcome any other comments/suggestions.
