UiTM Medical Interview.
As part of the Islamic Medical Symposium '05, UiTM in association with IMAM will be conducting an interview session on the last day of the symposium.
UiTM will be represented by
1. Dato' Prof Dr Khalid Yusoff - Dekan Fakulti Perubatan
2. Dato' Prof Dr Ir Sahol Hamid - Timbalan Naib Canselor (Akademik)
3. Puan Rabiah Latif - Pendaftar
and the team will be attending the IMAM symposium on the 12 & 13th of
March in Manchester.
There will be a special slot on the 13th Sunday during the symposium for UiTM to explain their vision and plans for the medical faculty. Afterwards an interview session will be conducted in the afternoon.
Please note that although the formal interview slot starts at 1300 and ends on the 1800 on the 13th of March, if the response is overwhelming, all those who are interested can make informal approach to UiTM to have the interview done at any time that Symposium weekend.
The IMAM symposium, WILL BE THE ONLY TIME THAT UiTM will conduct their
interview on a WEEKEND.

It is also a chance to do some networking and rub shoulders with our
presenters who are undoubtedly true giants of medicine in Malaysia.
We are also offering you an opportunity to get a job at the same time.
THIS IS MOST PERTINET ESPECIALLY FOR PETRONAS SCHOLARS. Current
PETRONAS' policy do not allow their scholars to continue their training in the
UK unless they gain permission from PETRONAS. Unlike JPA, PETRONAS
SCHOLARS they do not get the '4 years' grace period to allow them to
continue their training in the UK.
But if you are successful to get a job with UiTM then,
1) You will have a job in a prestigious and upcoming university, if you
do decide to go home upon graduation
OR
2) You will be allowed to continue with your specialist training in the
UK while being with UiTM.
All final year scholars are encouraged to attend. The 4th year students
are also encouraged to attend...... at the very least to see what is
needed to apply for jobs in Malaysia when the time comes.
You need 3 copies of your Cv and your original certificates.
