[Histonet] comparison between tissue processors
Hello everybody, we are buying a new tissue processor for the lab and, at the moment, we are considering these three models: Thermo Excelsior AS Leica HistoCore PEARL SLL MTM I/II I would very much appreciate your thoughts/experience regarding any of these models. We are a small research lab, so, normally, no huge burden of blocks. Thanks a lot for your help Regards Julio Benavides Silván Instituto de Ganadería de Montaña (CSIC-Universidad de León) 24346. [Histonet] Grossing room design
Hi there, we are in the process of getting a new grossing room and I was wondering if there is any document or similar where the basic design requirements are stated. Something like the ventilation, material of the walls, requirements for electricity standards, pipes. Any suggestions/ideas/experience would be much appreciated! Thanks a lot for your help!! [Histonet] gross photography
Hi there, May I ask you your opinion about which system you are using to take gross pictures? We are using a couple of big tungsten light bulbs and a Nikon d60 camera. We are a research lab working with sheep, so we get big lesions in big organs. I was wondering if anybody is using a Digital Gross Photography System and how they compare with a "more ytraditional" digital camera approach. As always, thank you so much for your opinions. Greatly appreciated! Cheers Julio ___ Histonet mailing list Histonet@lists.utsouthwestern.edu http://lists.utsouthwestern.edu/mailman/listinfo/histonet
