[Histonet] (no subject)
Hello All- We have a DRS 2000 slide stainer (new to us) in our laboratory. We are staining only routine H slides. I am not sure we have optimal programmed established. It seems to stain slower (even though) its double racks. Does anyone have a routine H protocol (we use clarifier and bluing) established that we could use? I'm thinking maybe we don't have the correct icon (exact, infinity) by the correct component. Any thoughts, ideas appreciated. If anyone has any experience with this unit please contact me or send me an email (madeathri...@pastnashville.com) ___ Histonet mailing list Histonet@lists.utsouthwestern.edu http://lists.utsouthwestern.edu/mailman/listinfo/histonet

[Histonet] cassette printers
Histoland- In the market for a cassette printer with barcode capabilities. Tape or ink? Durability? I currently use the tape and never had issues with fading /washing/non-readable. Have heard of some issues with the ink on some units difficult to read esp. with barcodes. Thoughts??? Thanks in advance to responders. madeathri...@pastnashville.com ___ Histonet mailing list Histonet@lists.utsouthwestern.edu http://lists.utsouthwestern.edu/mailman/listinfo/histonet
[Histonet] cassette printer
Hi Histoland- Looking for a refurbished cassette printer. Currently using the Shurmark cassette printer. Prefer several hoppers for color cassettes, ability to print on Activ-Flo cassettes and Simport cassettes with no issues. At this point if it can just print. Need something to get through till we make a decision on the complete "system" (specimen tracking) for our lab.
