[Histonet] HHV8 Antibody

Has anyone had experience with this antibody? One of our Hemepaths wants to
bring this on line. Where do you get your antibody and what is your
protocol? Any info would be much appreciated.

How funny! You are so right!

What about the ink on all of those old reports and reference books? Isn't
ink a
dye in solvent?

The best special stains I ever did were back in the day when I made my own
solutions

from dry chemicals that were already 20 to 30 years old.

  To all Quality Control Purists
There seems to be a growing concern with regards to outdating on reagents
and
their  continued use beyond this date.  I notice that Histological wax and
Mounting media are dated with an expiry date. Just begging the
question-should
we go back. melt down and re-embed all old blocks in fresh wax ?? Should we
recover slip old slides in fresh dated Mounting media. With all the fuss
over
quality control in the Laboratory and Government Lab Inspection oversight ,
how
can this be ignored and our archives put at such dreadful risk ??

Hello Blake,

LabelClinic HTS is a tracking system for Histology artifacts within the
Pathology workflow. The product is designed to provide improved quality
control and traceability with the lab. It provides flexible and reliable
labeling and tracking of histology requisitions, containers, specimens,
blocks and slides. Using bar code technology, LabelClinic HTS provides an
optimized workflow that reduces errors and significantly enhances patient
safety. It can be used stand alone, or integrated into an LIS / AP software
system.

Benefits:
* Flexible lab configuration for custom lab workflow
* Reduce errors and increase efficiency
* Just-in-time reporting of artifact locations or last know location
* Alerting for sub-process time violations and missing artifacts
* Deploy to Desktop PC's or mobile hand held's
*   Configurable workflow
* Supports color selection for slide and cassette printers

I would be happy to set up an online WebEx demo of the system for anyone who
may be interested. Thank you!
