RE: [Histonet] Histology Tracking systems

2014-10-17 Thread Joelle Weaver
I have used a keyboard at embedding, but no mouse. The other tracking uses I
have seen use scanning of bar codes or QR codes not keyboard or mouse entry.

 Subject: [Histonet] Histology Tracking systems

I know this might be a strange question but, do any Histology Labs out in
Histoland use a keyboard and mouse at Embedding and Microtomy to perform
tracking, slide label printing and Quality Assurance recording. Thanks in
 advance for your replies.

 Hi,

My company is considering a new tracking system for our histology studies.
This system needs to track everything from trimming, decal, embedding,
cutting, routine and molecular pathology/staining. It also needs to be able
to accommodate complex study designs (multiple animals, groups, necropsy
 timepoints, etc).

I am interesting in hearing from people in other pharma/biotech/CROs to see
what they are using to capture this information.

 Thanks,
 Kim
