Assalamualaikum. Saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kerana respons drpd netters sekelian. Sorry kerana saya tidak berkesempatan utk berinteraksi masa working hours. Saya akan cuba menjawab soalan atas kemampuan saya. Pertama sekali tentang halal/haramnya contra trade ,warrant, KLOFFE. Ini kita kena serah pada tuk-tuk mufti kita. Saf kepimpinan PAS sendiri pun telah berkali-kali menekankan bahawa memberi fatwa bukannya tugas kita walaupun mungkin ramai di antara mereka yg berkelayakan. Walau bagaimana pun, kalau kita ada doubt dalam sesuatu perkara, usahlah diteruskan. Berkenaan dgn tips, sorry kerana saya sendiri pun kurang berkeyakinan dgn tips-tips ni. Memanglah Malaysian stock market is driven by rumors. But my style of investment is I would rather buy companies with certainties and have proven track records in term of financial performance. Sekarang ni technology stocks tengah naik berlipat kali ganda worldwide. Many so-called tech-cos. in this country do not really have strong fundamentals. If we happen to buy such company, we're basically buying a company which would only have profits a few years down the road (> 3 yrs). My advice is becareful with this frenzy. If we have profits don't hesitate to take it. Remember, the average Malaysian equity return is only 12% per year. If we have a stock that is already 50% up in just a few months, sell it with Alhamdulillah. On average, it normally takes 4 yrs to get such profits. Buat TK yg risau pasal AKI warrant tu, I just had a quick look at it on Bloomberg and it is indeed being suspended for whatever reason which I didn't have a chance to check. However the expiration date has been extended to 2005. Bersabarlah. Pasal counter yg ada * atau tidak ni, I'm sure what are referring to. Is it on the list in the newspaper or what? Sorrylah sebab I jarang baca paper. Kan kita tengah boikot sekarang. My information sources are Bloomberg, Datastream, Reuters, Brokers reports & Asian Wall Street Journal.
