Malam tadi ana dengar kuliah Sdra Zulkifli Nordin di Masjid Al Ittisam,
TTDI Jaya Shah Alam. Kuliah bermula dgn tajuk isra' mikraj and berkembang
hingga ke kisah pengisytiharan Malaysia negara Islam ( di sahkan oleh Samy
Vellu & Lim Kheng Yaik) oleh KERAjaan BN sebagaimana yang kita telah
maklum. Sdra Zulkifli menerangkan, utk sessi parlimen kali ini, ahli
parlimen PAS telah menghantar soalan bertulis kepada Jabatan Pendaftaran
Negara (JPN) yang menanyakan tentang
1) Jumlah permohonan dari orang islam yang di terima utk menukar nama
dalam kad pengenalan atas alasan menukar agama
2) Jumlah permohonan yang telah diluluskan
Menurut JPN, jumlah permohonan yang diterima setakat ini ( setakat bila
tak diceritakan oleh sdra Zulkifli) ialah 13,700 kes dan jumlah permohonan
yang telah di luluskan ialah 795 kes. Astaghfirullah.. itulah yang ana
dengar dari mulut jemaah2 yang ada di kiri kanan ana.
Majority yang murtad itu menggunakan undang-undang malaysia sendiri yg.
membenarkan sesiapa saja yang berumur atas 18 tahun untuk menganut agama
yang disukai. Sdra Zulkifli juga bercerita tentang peristiwa di parlimen
dimana ketika Tuan Guru Haji Hadi cuba membawa usul utk meminda undang2
malaysia utk menghalang orang islam dari murtad, Tuan Guru Haji Hadi telah
di sorak dan di boo oleh ahli2 parlimen BN termasuklah dari sebuah parti
melayu... malang sungguh puak2 ni... and malang jugak orang2 islam yang
menghantar mereka ini ke parlimen...
Wal'iyazabillah.. sama2 lah kita memohon perlindungan kepada Allah SWT
dari di timpa fitnah yang sangat besar ini.

MOSCOW, Dec 2 (AFP) - The war in Chechnya is
becoming an increasingly bloody affair for Russian troops
who had grown used to stringing together victory after
victory since the start of the ground offensive two months
ago.
But a fierce Chechen counter-attack codenamed "Sword of
Justice" has rocked the Russian military back on its heels,
and seen secessionist forces wrest control of two towns
from federal troops.
On Thursday Russia suffered its biggest losses in a
single day since federal troops rolled into the rebel
republic on October 1.
Up to 50 Russian soldiers and officers were killed and
100 wounded Thursday in a battle for control of the
Chechen stronghold of Argun, the AVN military news
agency cited federal sources as saying.
The Russians suffered their first major setbacks in the
east of the breakaway republic, where Grozny said its
forces had captured Novogroznensky and Noibyora, some
50 kilometres (30 miles) east of the capital.
Moscow admitted losing control of Novogroznensky but
insists it has since been recaptured, a claim the
Chechens hotly dispute.
Its first battlefield successes have signalled a change in
tactics by the Chechen military, but the counter-offensive
does not yet pose a real threat to Moscow, whose forces
still control more than half the renegade republic.
Federal troops have Grozny 80 percent surrounded, with
forward units only two kilometres from the outskirts of a
city which is bombarded day and night.
Most major towns in the republic, including the second city
Gudermes, are already under Russian control.
Nevertheless, Moscow has been forced to concede some
spectacular Chechen successes in recent days, including
the annihilation of a platoon of paratroopers on
reconnaissance in the Vedeno areas in the rebel-held
southern mountains of Chechnya.
That operation left at least 12 Russians dead, or between
40 and 200 according to the Chechens, who have shown
video footage purporting to show the aftermath of the
battle.
The Russian advance has stalled in the past few weeks
around Urus-Martan, some 20 kilometres (12 miles)
southwest of Grozny, a key town which federal troops must
take if they are to completely encircle the Chechen capital.
A relentless barrage of tank, rocket and artillery fire,
combined with intensive air strikes, have so far failed to
dislodge Chechen fighters from the town, which is
reported to have been 80 percent destroyed by the
onslaught.
Hundreds of Russian soldiers have been killed in fierce
battles near the town and the nearby settlement of
Alkhan-Yurt, according to Grozny.
Even in zones in theory controlled by Russian troops, the
situation remains far from satisfactory.
Military commanders complain of constant incursions in
the northern Naurskaya and Shelkovskaya districts
captured in early October, and Goragorsky, in the
northwest, captured on October 15.
The situation has become so serious that Defence
Minister Igor Sergeyev on Thursday announced security
would be beefed up in Russian-held areas of Chechnya in
an effort to end the incursions.
Moscow could need up to three more months to bring the
republic to heel, he admitted Wednesday.
Russia says it has restricted its losses so far to 250 dead,
a figure servicemen's support groups say underplays the
true casualty levels. The Soldiers' Mothers Committee
said recently the figure was nearer 600.

35 Palestinians injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers in Bethlehem
Occupied Jerusalem- Israeli occupation soldiers today shot dead a
Palestinian vendor outside the Bilal Ibn Rabah Mosque in Bethlehem.
Eyewitnesses said the young Palestinian, Musa Fayez Abu Ehlayel, was shot
dead at a close range as he was walking near an Israeli military outpost.
Palestinian sources told this correspondent the Israeli soldiers shot dead
the Palestinian without provocation.
An Israeli military spokesman said the Palestinian vendor, who was
apparently selling tourist cards, sought to stab an Israeli soldier.
However, a Palestinian Legislative Council member, Salah al Taamari,
described the Israeli account of the incident as false from beginning to
end.
This is lie, lie, lie, said Taamari, adding that the Palestinian vendor
was out earning bread for his family not seeking to stab soldiers armed to
the teeth with a small pocket knife.
Taamari accused the Israeli government of sanctioning murder against the
Palestinian people.
This is Baraks New Years present to the Palestinian people, said Taamari
in an embittered tone.
Following the incident, scores of Palestinian youths hurled stones on
Israeli soldiers stationed outside the Rachel Tomb garrison.
The occupation soldiers responded with rubber bullets and tear gas,
injuring 35 Palestinian protesters.
The clashes between the unarmed Palestinian protesters and the heavily
armed Israeli soldiers were continuing as of the time of this report.

Safe passage opened between West Bank, Gaza; Palestinians call it unsafe
Occupied Jerusalem- The Palestinian self-rule authority and the Zionist
regime today opened the safe passage between the West Bank and Gaza Strip
amid Palestinian complaints that the passage is neither free nor safe.
The 45-kilometer route will enable Palestinians from Gaza and the West
Bank to travel between the two flanks of the autonomous enclaves under
strict Israeli supervision.
However, hundreds, probably thousands, of Palestinians, viewed by Israel,
as security risks will not be able to use the passage.
A spokesman for the Israeli Coordinator office in the West Bank, Shlomo
Dror, said wanted Palestinians would be barred from using the passage.
These people will not be allowed to use the safe passage, since if they
enter Israel they will be immediately arrested; and we expect the
Palestinians to arrest them.
Israel maintains black lists of Palestinians who oppose the peace process,
including political activists, college students, university professors as
well as members and supporters of the Islamist movements who are
classified as hostile elements.
So far only 2000 safe-passage passes have been issued to Palestinians,
mainly from the Gaza Strip.
As many as 20,000 applications have been submitted, Palestinian sources
said.
According to the Safe-passage protocol, Palestinian travelers will be
subjected to strict, even humiliating, frisking and searches.
Palestinian commentators have discounted the significance of the opening
of the safe passage, calling it a mockery of nonsense.
PA civil defense chief says the authority doesnt pay attention to us
Occupied Jerusalem- The Chief of PA Civil Defense in the self-rule areas
has accused the Palestinian authority of relegating all financial
resources to the security agencies and of paying little attention to civil
defense and other organs caring for the masses.
Abdul Hay Abdul Wahid said in a press conference last night the civil
defense was unequipped and unable to successfully put the fire that killed
15 female workers at a Hebron factory because we dont give sufficient
funds

Below is the latest development :
Between
Midnight- 2 am.-Detainees were transported in batches from the police
Training center (PULAPOL) in Jalan Gurney to several police station
around the city.
9am till
2pm. - Based on our information and those confirmed by the police. Total
detained have been 48. They have been remanded at ten police stations -
Cheras, Stadium, Pantai, Brickfields, Sentul, Pudu, Kepong, Travers,
Bandar Tun Razak and Setapak. The two women detainees are being detained
at Jalan Travers police station. None of the detainees have been
released and almost all of them will be remanded more than 24 hours and
will only be brought to court tomorrow morning.

2.30pm. - Tian Chua - National Vice President of KeAdilan was arrested
while having lunch with some friends at Petaling Jaya. He was then taken
to the Petaling Jaya Police station and later to the KL State police
Headquarters (IPK Kuala Lumpur). He was later taken to the Salak South
police station to be remanded.
2.45pm. - Tian Chua's Lawyer, Mr. Cah Kah Peng was arrested by the
Petaling Jaya Police Station under Section 186 for obstruction. Mr. Kah
Peng was arrested after he was denied the right to be present when Tian
was being questioned. The lawyer was released three hours later.
Note :
1. Ezam, Goplakrishnan and other leaders arrested outside Kuala Lumpur
has been brought to Kuala Lumpur. They are expected to be remanded
tomorrow.
2. The police will most likely take a remand order on those arrested at
the the Jalan Raja Magistrate court, Kuala Lumpur.
3. The police have yet to give the name of the Investigation officer
(IO) for most of the cases remanded so far.

1. Come to the court tomorrow morning (17th. April 2000) to give
solidarity to those detained and support to their families
2. Write protest letter on the manner the Government and the police
carried out the repression excersice on Keadilan supporters and how they
curbed freedom of assembly. Also demand for the release of all detained
and call for the intervention of the Malaysian Human Rights Commission.

kenderaan pacuan empat roda yang
dipercayai digunakan oleh
sekumpulan 15 lelaki yang melakukan
serangan sebelum melarikan
lebih 100 raifel M16 dan beribu-ribu
butir peluru di dua kem tentera
di Gerik kira-kira 80 km dari sini.
Pihak tentera dan polis telah
meningkatkan jumlah anggota sejak
pagi ini berikutan pertemuan tempat
persembunyian kumpulan itu.
Kumpulan itu dipercayai bersembunyi di
kawasan kebun
buah-buahan di antara Kampung Changkat
Duku, Kampung Ngor,
Kampung Jenalek Hulu dan Kampung
Jenalek Hilir yang terletak
kira-kira lima kilometer dari pekan
Sauk, dan kira-kira 60 kilometer
dari pekan Gerik, tempat kedua mereka
merompak senjata api itu.
Sementara itu, Sekolah Kebangsaan
Jenalek, kira-kira lima
kilometer dari pekan Sauk telah
ditutup buat sementara waktu
untuk dijadikan markas operasi yang
melibatkan beribu anggota
tentera dan polis.
Menurut jurucakap Jabatan Pendidikan,
sekolah itu ditutup mulai
hari ini dan akan hanya dibuka apabila
keadaan terkawal kerana ia
berhampiran dengan kawasan
persembunyian kumpulan yang
dikepung itu.
Sekatan jalan raya juga
dipertingkatkan dari pekan Sauk hingga ke
pekan kecil Cegar Galah. Hanya mereka
yang tinggal di kawasan
tersebut dan yang mempunyai urusan
dibenarkan melalui jalan itu.
