mengeluarkan 'emas hitam' tsbt. tetapi adanya perancangan jahat mahathir
dan kuncu-kuncu melambatkan petronas; saluran paip laluan gas luar
kelantan
perlu disiapkan dahulu. semoga allah swt gagalkan usaha jahat mahathir

 Eh??

Gas tu ambil kat mana? Lat laut sempadan antara Kelantan dan Thai ke?
Kenapa perlu paip gas? Kenapa tak diproses saja di Kelantan? Kan ke lebih
jimat kos? Dan baik untuk rakyat Kelantan (95% Melayu tu)? Lepas tu boleh
juga rakyat Kelantan dapat duit saku (duit Ihsan).

 Kurang faham ni.

Mungkin Syazana boleh tolong terangkan skit.

Temperature rises over Thai-Malaysia gas pipeline

BANGKOK, Oct 22 (AFP) - Police in southern Thailand were on a state
of
high alert Sunday after clashes with an angry mob over a
controversial
Thai-Malaysian gas pipeline left 28 wounded.

Police placed a security cordon around Hat Yai and other major
southern towns, one day after more than 500 protestors clashed with
police in the south, police said.

Protestors armed with sticks and stones battled riot police in Hat
Yai
Saturday and eventually took over its meeting hall, where officials
had been holding a public hearing on whether to approve the pipeline
 project.

Some of the protestors charged that unknown assailants fired shots at
 them while they were demonstrating.

Hat Yai police told AFP that fourteen policemen and fourteen
protestors were injured during the rioting.

Some residents of southern Thailand believe the gas pipeline project,
estimated to cost roughly one billion US dollars, has been approved
too quickly by the government, without taking into account its
potential environmental impact on local fishermen and farmers.

If completed, the pipeline would transport gas from a part of the
Gulf
of Thailand being jointly developed by Malaysia and Thailand to the
 two countries.

Protestors said that the officials meeting in Hat Yai had approved
the
pipeline in a meeting lasting only one hour.

Such a meeting "is not legitimate in terms of law or democracy," said
a coalition of Thai non-governmental organisations in a statement.

"The groups demand that the government review the public hearing
process," it said. "Public hearings in Thailand are mainly intended
to
justify decisions already made on large projects."
