You could just hand craft the entry in the GameConfig.txt - found in

or really easy to figure out).

MINERVA manages to disappear every other week - and likewise, I've
always fixed it with a quick edit of that GameConfig.txt...

[hlcoders] hlds linux problem ( /var/log/messages - excessive CPU usage )

Hello.

I run 8 servers on a single box.
I don't know if this is normal behaviour but after I noticed a significant CPU
usage i checked /var/log/messages and found a lot (500MB+) of logs similar
somewhat to those found in /cstrike/logs (i run cs servers)
they look like this :

Dec 3 04:23:45 cs1 runuser: L 12/03/2006 - 04:23:45:
freeztyle6178STEAM_ID_PENDING connected, [...]

Can I disable this feature somehow or what can I do ? CPU usage is high
enough lately.
Thank you.

ok cool.

I present my mod today to the general public. The issues I had with it
within the last 72 hours are astounding. :)

I have one level with some code finished so far.

My level would not load. When I got it to load, the lighting was thrown out
- The only problem is that the compile tools stopped working.
I wasn't able to load the sdk for a while. I did get that to work, only to
see that hammer couldn't load.

I don't blame Valve for these issues, I just have a way about having every
thing that could go wrong has gone wrong. My xbox 360 is going to be used in
the presentation - it died last night at 5 am.

I am very lucky to have everything back up and running. I wouldn't have done
it without Mike, or any of the awesome brilliant people on this mailing
list. Thank you.

Please Wish me luck :) -Greg
