Re: [hlcoders] Does Valve (America) offers internships?
I would highly recommend emailing them at j...@valvesoftware.com and ask your question there. I'm certain they would require you to relocate, but it never hurts to ask if they have a job opening for you! Hey guys, I don't really know if this is the right place or not but I'm wondering if Valve provides any chances for internships? I am currently a sophomore student majoring in Math. I can do some programming but I'm better in 3D/2D Art stuff. Just looking for some game development work experience, and of course I'm happy to do it for free. Please let me know if there's anything I can do about it. If you're willing to do it for free why not join a mod dev team? :) On Tue, Aug 31, 2010 at 5:16 AM, Kate h...@fansubber.com wrote: I would highly recommend emailing them at j...@valvesoftware.com and ask your question there. Re: [hlcoders] Does Valve (America) offers internships?
Thanks for the advices guys. I'll probably give it a try. In fact I'm already in a mod dev team, but I was thinking about going into Valve and see how they get their things done, and if possible, maybe joining some parts of the work. Thanks again guys! Re: [hlcoders] Does Valve (America) offers internships?
Just for reference, most technical (e.g. engineering) internships in America are paid. At least, the ones worth taking are. Valve is great and all but I wouldn't work there unless they paid me. :) --Bob On Mon, Aug 30, 2010 at 8:08 PM, Trevor 'Drak' hlco...@wowway.com wrote: I think he was kidding, because you added (America) -- From: WRNM assaultar...@hotmail.com Sent: Monday, August 30, 2010 10:53 PM To: hlcoders@list.valvesoftware.com Subject: Re: [hlcoders] Does Valve (America) offers internships?
