Any word? I'm really looking forward to playing with this, and it's not
included with the "full" SDK.

[hlcoders] Face Poser & WAV files (view)

2008-04-16 Thread Some Person

Okay.

Wav files are imported and what not. Everything (in that way) works fine

What doesn't work that great is trying to see the wavform in Face Poser.

I had created a "guide" track in Sony Vegas that held the wavs in their correct
positions.

I was hoping to import this track to check the actual positions of the
phoneme-based .wavs in Face Poser. No dice.

The .wav files are so thin that they can't be seen. I can't figure out how to
resize them vertically, or if that's even possible.

Is there any easier way of lining up .wav files without having to do them all
by hand inside Face Poser?

Thanks

Chad

Why would you want to resize them vertically anyway? So long as they
play back at the right volume, it's irrelevant.

Re: [hlcoders] Face Poser & WAV files (view)

2008-04-17 Thread Some Person

It was just to figure out where to put the files (for timing)

If you could load in a guide track (with all of your wavs already positioned),
you could position all of the little wav files by looking at the waveform of
the guide.

We actually solved this by opening a project in Sony Vegas, and looking at the
relative start times of each clip. Took a little longer, but it worked.

[hlcoders] Face Poser/Extract in the Phoneme Editor

2005-11-11 Thread DAV

Hi,

I am getting this error when trying to use the Extract in the Phoneme Editor
in a Portuguese Windows XP:

Error: SAPI 5.1 Unable to create phoneme converter for language 2070

I remember that this problem is related to trying to use the Extract of the
Phoneme Editor in a non US windows.

Any workaround available to fix this?

Thanks,
Davide (DAV)

I'll take a look at this in the debugger and see if there's a simple fix
we can make to faceposer for the next tools release.
