RE: [hlcoders] Loopable MP3
Ya, I use Goldwave. You can do what you need to do using the demo version. Just set a cue point at the point you want it to start looping, usually the beginning. But does anybody have any ideas on how to solve my problem? -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Stephen Micheals Sent: Monday, June 20, 2005 1:48 AM To: hlcoders@list.valvesoftware.com Subject: Re: [hlcoders] Loopable MP3 And dont forget the Great program, Goldwave. Cooledit pro. I think there is a demo version that you will be able to use in restricted mode. load your wav and go to Tools. Hit find loop points and then play the wav in loop mode. You could also try Acid, Recycle or "the Daddy" Soundforge. All will do what you want in demo version. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Deadman Standing Sent: 20 June 2005 09:00 To: hlcoders@list.valvesoftware.com Subject: RE: [hlcoders] Loopable MP3 Can you recommend any tools that let you set the looping of .wav files? RE: [hlcoders] Loopable MP3
There could be, I haven't really looked. I don't think it would solve the problem either. The main problem is as soon as the player goes out of hearing range from the mp3 and comes back, the sound has stopped playing. It does this with WAVs too, unless they are set to loop in the WAV file. With MP3s, you can't add a cue point to make it loop like you can with WAVs. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Draco Sent: Sunday, June 19, 2005 7:59 PM To: hlcoders@list.valvesoftware.com Subject: Re: [hlcoders] Loopable MP3 is there a way to find if the sound is still playing? you could just replay the mp3 every time it stops -- Draco ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders
