[hlds] OT: Upgrade from Bronze HL2 package...
Valve, Please incluce a method to upgrade from the Bronze HL2 package to the Silver or Gold in Steam where we can just pay the difference. I accidently bought Bronze for one of my accounts, and now I cannot play HL1:Source. Instead of being able to upgrade I am shown this message: Thank you! You have already purchased Half-Life 2 on Steam. At present, only one HL2 offer may be purchased per Steam account. ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds

[hlds] is anyone else annoyed?
at the lack of multiplayer support? I mean come on... what does valve think made half-life so popular in the first place? Sure the single player is fun for however long it takes you to finish it, but its the multiplayer that makes a game survive for 6 or 7 years like the original halflife. And now Half-life: Source doesn't even give you multiplayer?!?!?! What is the point of it then? We've all played the single player part before... I'm hoping Valve patches this sometime in the near future. Counterstrike multiplayer is not a suitable substitute for all the gamers out there like me that can't stand the round-based play. COME ON VALVE!!! Everything is fine now... http://img60.exs.cx/img60/4190/hl2OK.jpg So I guess it just hadn't finished loading and or validating which is wierd because it said it was all OK.
