Re: [hlds] RCon Bad Password Exploit/Crash
for us noobs, can you elaborate this, are you saying if you use the wrong password and issue ANY rcon command the server will crash? [hlds] RCon Bad Password Exploit/Crash
It looks like the RCon bad password crash is back following this last update. I was able to reproduce it by sending a command to the server via my ingame console and using the wrong password. Once the server kicked/banned me, it crashed. Hopefully, Valve can include the regression fix with the _resetgamestats exploit. ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
Re: [hlds] New TF2 Crash
thanks for letting us know about this, also thanks for the Sourcemod plugin, works great. On Sun, Aug 3, 2008 at 1:20 AM, Cc2iscooL <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > It's not a metamod plugin. Re: [hlds] 2000fps
Yes it is possible. The 1000 cap is artificial and has to do with the minimum frame time. A simple hack can bypass this: host_profile : 30 clients, 0.6 msec, 1547.6 fps host_profile : 30 clients, 0.7 msec, 1514.5 fps host_profile : 30 clients, 0.3 msec, 3527.9 fps host_profile : 30 clients, 0.3 msec, 3174.2 fps host_profile : 30 clients, 0.4 msec, 2668.1 fps host_profile : 30 clients, 0.4 msec, 2797.7 fps host_profile : 30 clients, 0.3 msec, 3659.0 fps host_profile : 30 clients, 0.3 msec, 3733.6 fps host_profile : 30 clients, 0.4 msec, 2767.1 fps host_profile : 30 clients, 0.7 msec, 1485.4 fps host_profile : 30 clients, 0.7 msec, 1447.0 fps Though, as mentioned, this is *entirely pointless*. Anyone who claims to be able to tell the difference between 1000fps and 2000fps is full of shit, as are most people who claim to tell the difference between 100 and 1000. - Neph Munra wrote: > Even if you could what would be the point. [hlds] 2000fps
This is getting stupid and I want it cleared up. Is it even possible to do 2000fps on Linux or windows. From my knowledge it isn't. But you have all these people that say it is and it's making me mad that they are because people keep on asking me and I'm saying NO. ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
Re: [hlds] New TF2 Crash
It's not a metamod plugin. It's a very basic Valve plugin. If you have sourcemod it would probably take up less resources to use this plugin so you dont have to add a mm plugin. http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=648834 ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
