Re: [hlds] Tf2 Client Crash Causes Server Crash?
Ive been having a similar issue where suiciding (exploding specifically) on custom maps causes the server to restart. Whats especially odd about this is that the server starts itself up again and autorestart or autoupdate is not currently enabled! [hlds] Tf2 Client Crash Causes Server Crash?
Whats with all these random client updates? Many of my members are reporting random crashes or temporary lockups. Earlier had a guy said he locked up, so he asked someone to kill him and when they did the server crashed. Seems these fun undocumented client updates are making havoc with the servers also. Re: [hlds] Tf2 update problems
You don't need -autoupdate for Windows, it doesn't do anything. As far as the tickrate, I don't believe, without some sort of override, that you can run 100 tickrate anyway, so you might want to drop that to 66. Re: [hlds] Team Fortress 2 Update Released
I'm guessing servers in arena mode were misreporting stats to the master server, which makes a required update understandable - you can't have bugs messing with peoples' stats, since those are permanently recorded.
