Subject: [hlds] L4D Server issue, and GroupID is gone

Hello all, I'm new to this list so I appologize if this has been covered.

First of all, I have 11 servers.. 3 of which seem to bring players, the
others say hibernating. Last night 1,2,3,4 were working.. but today 7,8,9
are working, and 1,2,3,4 are no longer working.. Is this intentional to
only allow the servers to be active part of the time? Or is something
wrong.. I've also tried adding the Master servers manually and that has
not helped either. Before the last few updates all were full constantly.

 Second question:
I was going to implement the new GroupID setting on the servers.. but it
seems like the GroupID has vanished from the Group admin page as of today!
It was there last night. Has this idea been abandoned?

Re: [hlds] L4d vote kicking

2008-11-13 Thread Andrew Noland
Is there a command to disable voting in general, or hopefully, for each of
the specific items you can vote on? Difficulty change, restart campaign,
kicking.

 Just a quick question.

 Thanks all early-adopters.

Is there a way to set the server for private use only? Via a password, or
 something similar?

Owhhh is the demo deserted? Because I don't see any players on my 7 servers
 :(

To my server.cfg I have added:
 setmaster add 68.142.72.250:27011
 setmaster add 72.165.61.189:27011

I can join my own server, but nobody is playing :(

From the last update i get many disconnects during the game. I can connect
to my server, but when I begin to play I get a message that the server is
timed out (in the right upper screen I get a message that it will
autoconnect again.. in red). The reconnection is only 1 or 2 sec's. But I
get it more than once during the game.
