I got the request about a month ago followed by a phishing attempt. They
purported to be from Valve and wanted to confirm my password. I asked them
for their STEAM_ID so I could report them to Valve.

it has been reported to me that players have been adding themselves to your
friends list and somehow stealing the accounts
i am also seeing many ppl suddenly trying to add me to their friends list

1 members account has already been stolen this way
