Hiya,
I don’t want to start a big flame, but im just really puzzled, this has been
niggling away for the last few weeks and I thought id see if anyone else has
any thoughts or experiences that may help.
Basically the servers in question are these:
3x dual amd mp 2400's, 1.5gb ram.
3x p4's 1gb ram, 3ghz, 2.8ghz and a 2.67ghz.
The p4 singles seem to be running circles around the duals, ive performed
several tests getting the boxes as full as possible.

What operating system are you running on those machines?

I don't have CS 1.5, but that really doesn't look like an 'official' Valve
announcement. The 'immediately' is what gave it away.

As well as the "PEASE".

Ok this is the LAST time I am going to ask for "my" email address to be
"removed" from the mailing list. I have every right to want it removed from
the list and I am getting tired of this crap that you send back to me and no
help! Please take me off the list, or I will contact Valve directly, than
you.

You do realize that we have absolutely no control over YOUR
subscription? Strangely enough, only YOU do! (Huh, what a strange
concept.) Unsubscribing via the Mailman web interface functions
perfectly (just tested it); you are obviously doing something wrong.

Seconded.
I have a dedicated server with TP and I have been absolutely floored

[hlds] CVAR to read server.cfg on mapchange?

2004-05-31 Thread GreyFox
Hello all. I remember quite a ways back Erik posted that Steam HLDS no
longer reads the server.cfg on every mapchange. I also vaguely remember
him saying there was a CVAR we could set to 1 to re-enable this
functionality. I tried looking in the archives, but couldn't find the
specific message. Anyone know that CVAR?
