You will get better support on the Linix HLDS List

Sorry

This Linux installation is unsupported. You must have GLIBC 2.3.2 or
higher.
Please update your installation to a more recent version.

The machine has glibc2.3.5-10.3 - clearly newer than the version
specified in the error. I'm out of ideas as to why this is happening, if
anyone could give me a bump in the right direction I'd be extremely
greatful.

Thanks in advance!

We use rsync. Just put the updated files on an rsync server and set cron
to run rsync on all the client servers. Works pretty well! :)

First, you have to be a Valve Cafe' provider. If you aren't one of them...
then you have to wait til Monday August 16th and own a Copy of Condition
Zero. Other than that... you wont get CS:S.

Hi, I was wondering how to get the CS:S dedicated server? I went onto
steampowered.com and grabbed teh steam dedicated server (420 megs) and
updated everything, but I'm not seeing anything like srcds.exe after doing
the updates. Is there something I need to be doing with the
hldsupdatetool.exe to get it? Thanks.

Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

What's command line to start a CS:S server? Right now I'm trying this...

srcds.exe -game cstrike +maxplayers 20 +map de_dust

That just brings up the window to run it, but I need it to start running
automatically.

Thanks,
