Agree with Wim. Vac bans will remain delayed - can't see any change to
this.

whisper - is our (oz) experience reflected in other parts of the world -
Europe / Asia / USA etc? If not, that would count against making a blanket
change for everyone when it is a local problem.

I understood VALVe did take action against net cafe owners who produced
multiple steam ids which were used for cheating? Has this changed? Why
isn't (if not already) valve going thru the cafe licensing system to take
care of the rogue operators where it hurts?

Agreed.

It should also come in 1 round earlier (ie as soon as players are more than
2 members uneven, auto swap kicks in).

Also on the issue of team swapping, I know many players wait until they die
to swap teams as they don't want to lose their weapon. Can this
disincentive be removed? If I have an ak/colt/awp, I am less inclined to
swap over until I'm dead. I think if players were allowed to swap with
their weapon, the whole autobalance may become a non-issue. Is their any
exploit with this I'm missing?

Mate, I'm not talking about slowing anything. I'm in fact asking for the
walk speed to be increased!

But reducing the accuracy of players running would increase the skill
component of the game - sure you will need to prop some more when you spam,
but right now people just run through the map blasting away, barely aiming,
and score headshots, whereas another player, crouched and steadily aiming at
the head, is not rewarded with better accuracy.

bikkies - I'm not saying don't imporve this, but let's get real about what
bugs make an impact on this game for everyone.

Yeah - stop working on other non-important bug fixes, and fix this one
dammit! Don't worry about the crazy gun whirling animation when they are
aiming at your head, the grenade toss when they are not tossing, the random
flashing effects, the little cans causing you to squat, the noise you make
going down ramps walking, the net code, the little view box glitches in most
maps, players still able to rate cheat, the kit on bomb can't defuse trick,
the throwing of a grenade at defuser stops them defusing, the sound glitches
in dust2, the ridiculous accuracy of guns while running, the ridiculous size
of the head hitbox, the 20 seconds it takes a smoke grenade to develope, the
SLOW walk speed and don't worry about any new maps like de_vertigo as
promised 1.5 years ago. No, forget ALL that, just fix that GUI clarion bug
- please. I needs to rest now.

I don't think he is - I think he is disagreeing with Valve's view of this
difference.

I would like to know why it is considered bad to have a map list with 1 map
featuring proportionally higher than the rest. We all know dust2 is the
most popular and would like to run a cycle with it every 3rd map for example
out of say 7 maps.

I thought progress meant we got more imporvements / features / options?

again, it was amusing.
