Why should it backup custom crap.  It's purpose is to backup the game cache 
files so that you can do a *CLEAN* install of Steam without having to download 
all of them again.  You can manually backup your custom crap just like you 
manually installed the custom crap.

Well keeping in mind that the winders OS is nothing but a big overblown web
browser anyway, you could probably write that command on a strip of paper,
stick it in your mouth and chew it up real good then fire it through a straw
at your monitor. As long as it stuck the OS would probably run the
