Heh, that video demonstrates the problem quite nicely. Wasn't it suggested, a while back when DWP was in beta, to leave pistols entirely out of the equation? Related: if you look at the projected price for the Desert Eagle right now, it's $25K. With an upper limit of $16K on actual earnable money, that's not going to work. Also, from the actual algorithm explanation (at http://steampowered.com/stats/csmarket/algorithm.html): If the pistols were included in the larger pool of prices, they would often become too expensive to afford during the beginning of a match. I disagree. I think that Valve will take a while to fix this problem and people like me rely on this mailing list to let me know of the problems that are likely to crash my servers. In this case, I wonder how many people will have DWP on by the weekend...
