I have just updated my Windows servers, and Linux servers. Unfortunately I am not able to start the Linux servers, due to some library error: (./srcds_linux: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory). Am I the only one that is experiencing this error? It does not seem to occur on other gameservers. On Windows, everything is working fine. Sorry for the double post, but here's the quote from Milton on the Linux list yesterday regarding the config question... Some changes were made to reduce the number of ports that were opened but never used. What I am explicitly configuring on the ports are: +hostport -netconport -steamport The following ports have been disabled, so you don't need to worry about them. +clientport +tv_port Matchmaking convars should still be much the same as the current L4D1. So, in theory you should be able to re-use your configs from L4D1. If you are tweaking any of the game play convars, then all bets are off :) M. My (Windows) servers seem to be responding normally to A2S_INFO, using server.cfg files copied straight over from L4D. Mine is running using same command line as l4d (except I'm starting with the map c5m1_waterfront). Same server.cfg. I can see it in hlsw just fine, but it won't respond to connection attempts. It will respond to a bad rcon password, but not to a correct one. Well, I got it up and running and can see it in hlsw but my TCADMIN setup is wonky as I can't reset it from there. I had to launch the game from the remote server and it set it up with the main ip addy (which is different from the one I assigned in TCADMIN). Oh well. Its working for now. Will work on it tomorrow.
