Re: [hlds] Mandatory TF2 BETA update released
-noborder makes -windowed obsolete, its the -windowed command without the borders. either use -windowed for having a "window" around the game, or use -noborder to NOT have a border around the game window. -high will give input lag, depending on machine/drivers etc Spend some time updating: windows, drivers (with drivers from the vendors, not the "driverdownload" sites those are really bad). Then go over what you have in your starting with your windows and clean that out for unneeded garbage. > >From: Mike O'Laughlen >To: Half-Life dedicated Win32 server mailing list >Sent: Wednesday, 5 October 2011, 12:15 >Subject: Re: [hlds] Mandatory TF2 BETA update released > > >This option could negatively affect performance? > > >On Tue, Oct 4, 2011 at 7:31 PM, Harry Strongburg wrote: > >On Tue, Oct 04, 2011 at 03:43:39PM -0600, T Marler wrote: >>> Are there any plans to fix "hl2.exe" crashing after quitting tf2? Re: [hlds] Mandatory TF2 BETA update released
TF2 BETA is a testing ground for future TF2 features. They are checked for balance and bugs, etc. before being made live on TF2. --- Jonah Hirsch On Thu, Sep 29, 2011 at 4:47 PM, Dmitriy Bobrovskiy wrote: > Could you explain me the difference between TF2 BETA and TF2? We've released a mandatory update for Team Fortress 2 BETA. Re: [hlds] Mandatory TF2 BETA update released
There must be SOME difference in normal damage between backburner and the normal burner, altho I'd had rather seen that they had added it to the normal burner instead of removing it from the backburner. Pyro as front man is too weak in dmg output. One plays Pyro to Kamikaze, not only as sentry guard duty officer hanging around the sentry backblasting ubers or walk around the back to only spycheck, looking after the big boys so they wont get stabbed on the way to the front line. Pyro is just too plain boring to play with his "guard" duty in the back. any good pyro does that already on the way to the front oh wait, they have no business there anymore. > >From: hasser css >To: Half-Life dedicated Win32 server mailing list >Sent: Wednesday, 28 September 2011, 5:23 >Subject: Re: [hlds] Mandatory TF2 BETA update released > >On Tue, Sep 27, 2011 at 9:47 PM, Eric Smith wrote: >> - Removed the +10% damage bonus from The Backburner > >:( > >___ >To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please >visit: >http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds > > >___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
