Thus goes round the cycle of Steam Dustin Tuft From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Reply-To: hlds@list.valvesoftware.com To: hlds@list.valvesoftware.com Subject: Re: [hlds] This Steam account does not own this game message in console Date: Tue, 9 May 2006 10:02:54 -0700 I just find it very curious that they could actually get to the point where their client loads OP4 and tries to join the server before something finally says you can't do this and disconnects. I would think they would not be able to load the client at all. Unless they had some sort of hack that lets them play it in SP mode? My Knee jerk reaction is that they have multiple accounts on PC with install of Steam and they have once account with said game and the other account probably has the game files but it is not unlocked in Valvedom. RT It's too quiet here. Did the mail server crash? Hello?.hellohello.echo. So, I see this on my server. Curious as to how they were able to even get this far if their steam account didn't own the game. Dropped Shephard from server Reason: This Steam account does not own this game. I prefer the head in a plastic bag procedure. You know - you put your head in a plastic bag and recycle your breath. This is a general purpose cure for problems like not knowing how to unsubscribe from this list :-P - Original Message - From: Jason O.
