-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Correcto. I am not to sure about the name change part and what app being used, but I know of a multihack that does that along with everything else on 1.6. there was never a name change limit in 1.6 for someone to get around, only source On 5/10/05, Whisper <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > -- > [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] > Just caught a guy changing his name on a CS 1.6 server changing his name > once every 0.5 seconds and was able to use 14 different names in the space > of under 10 seconds and thats the ones HLSW was able to log him using, that > how fast he was changing them. > So much for that fix lasting. > May I ask why it is possible for a client to override server side > limitations, unless of course the name change limitation is not enforced by > the server, but is in fact enforced by the client? > Cheers > Whisper > -- > > ___ > To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please > visit: > http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds > ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
[hlds] The Name Change Script is back
-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Just caught a guy changing his name on a CS 1.6 server changing his name once every 0.5 seconds and was able to use 14 different names in the space of under 10 seconds and thats the ones HLSW was able to log him using, that how fast he was changing them. So much for that fix lasting. May I ask why it is possible for a client to override server side limitations, unless of course the name change limitation is not enforced by the server, but is in fact enforced by the client?
