The only thing they seemed to be able to do was to change the map at will and annoy the server admin and other people trying to play on the server in chat. As I said before, at first the server was running manimod and eventscripts. I stopped the server, removed the mod temporarily, changed the RCON pass and restarted. They still were able to change the map somehow when they wanted bothering people that were trying to play the game. They just kept changing the map over and over. I then banned them both by Steam ID and IP address. That kept them out but I still don't know exactly how they were doing that in the first place. I looked through the logs and I couldn't find anything unusual. It wasn't a real server crash just map restarts. I had an admin complaining about someone that had somehow got control over his DOD:Source server and was harrassing the admins in game and restarting the server at will by changing maps. Running on the server at the time were manimod and eventscripts. I shut down the server and restarted it with no mods and changed the RCON password as well. Still this person seems to be able to keep changing the maps. Has anyone heard of any DOD Source Exploit like this ? Please let me know if you have. It is very annoying. Thank you.
