Re: [hlds] CS1.6 Map into Condition-Zero
steam -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir hlds_l That is from *nix, but its pretty much the same thing. You have to use hldsupdatetool instead of steam though. If you need help, just type hldsupdatetool. You will get a list of everything that you need. --John - Original Message - From: "Edson Sossai" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, August 20, 2004 12:30 AM Subject: Re: [hlds] CS1.6 Map into Condition-Zero > i am using earthlink > > > > [Original Message] > > From: Guido <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Date: 8/16/2004 6:20:33 PM > > Subject: Re: [hlds] CS1.6 Map into Condition-Zero > > > > Since you guys live in miami, may i know what connection you are using for > > your servers? i cannot find a reasonable isp. -- -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] actaully the answer is Yes. All maps from any cs version will work with CZ. To get bots to work though, you do need a .nav file. Which can be done on your computer or the server. There is a group of people in the steampowered forums already do .nav's for custom and older maps. Once your server has been populated with a bot, the server/bot will go through the throws and create the *.nav file. Be aware, the creation of the nav file is very CPU intensive and depending on your hardware resources and map complexity, it may take up to 5 minutes or more to complete. Alternatively, you may find *.nav files for those maps on a custom map site such as http://www.cs-maps.us/ Good Luck. -=X=- -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Edson Sossai Sent: Wednesday, August 11, 2004 4:27 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [hlds] CS1.6 Map into Condition-Zero So base on your answer i assume that the maps can be played in CZ without a problem with the exception of the bots right?
