You can add multiple ips to one nic.

The only benefit is that those who join the server through the console
will not have to specify the port.

Subject: [hlds] Machine Running Two Servers - One or Two Ethernet
Interfaces Better?

I have a machine that runs two CS servers. Currently I only have one
Ethernet interface, would there be any benefit to adding another NIC and
giving each server its own IP? Currently they are running as
x.x.x.x:27015
and x.x.x.x:27016 and I am getting a fair number of collisions on the
network. Anyone have any experience with the actual difference? I do not
want to mess with it if it will not give me any benefit. The machine is
on a
dedicated T1 with a switched 100bT network.
