[hlds_linux] Eric or Admin, I may found an exploit?

2002-11-30 Thread Ron Slingsby
I don't want to post the details here but I think I may have discovered a
problem? I general, I have not been running OGL for a while and just again
last night. After about an hour of play on SpeakEasy.Net (Linux) DOD server,
I was amazed to see my system suddenly being to show me players and scenery
through a wall. I felt kind of bad shooting the poor guy between the eyes,
well OK not real bad. After a little investigating, I was able to replicate
the problem at will.

Is there somewhere I can send the details of the problem or is this a known
issue?

I run Win2k Pro with a ATI Radeon 7500 All-In-Wonder card. I have tested my
server using hacks on my other machine but this machine has never had one
even stored on it.

RE: [hlds_linux] hostages' health

2002-11-30 Thread Kevin J. Anderson
they never have lost health from dropping. imagine all the people
complaining about suicidal hostages that are too dumb to know when there is
a really large drop off and going splat.

heh

Re: [hlds_linux] FW: Eric or Admin, I may found an exploit?

2002-11-30 Thread Jared Eischen
I'm pretty sure this is a known problem with ATI video cards and certain
versions of the Catalyst drivers
