I don't get how my server is constantly crashing like this, I even deleted
everything to do with steam and reinstalling everything through the steam
binary and yet it still crashes, what's going on and why is this happening?
so much for your latest update which is just breaking everything.

Subject: [hlds_linux] server ticket errors

Ever since valve started messing with trying to fix the ticket errors I
started seeing players getting disconnected with this reason listed in my
server console.

Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket(server was
unable to contact the authentication server, 27)

Anyone else seeing these in your server logs? Its 3:50am pst and I just
saw a player get disconnected for this.

That was my original suggestion several months ago, but apparently
Valve doesn't think the game server providers are a relevant part of
their community, so I was ignored.

[hlds_linux] unable to connecT to TFC?

2003-11-17 Thread Matt
Hey

just updated the latest vac release on my 2 tfc servers.
They show up in the master list, when you try and connect to them,
nothing. It gets to verifying resources, then just hangs.

both are on debian Linux tfc 2.2.19-compact

I know windows servers dont have this problem
Any clues?

RE: [hlds_linux] When is WON going offline??

2003-11-17 Thread Marco Balle
What is your problem? You have 1.6 and 1.5 CS servers and nobody is playing
on it and now you want a fast shutdown of the WON servers?
Sorry, I don't understand this...

Marco
