Re: [hlds_linux] Changelevel with HLSW
I personally have never bothered with that, it's just as easy to type "maps *", find the name of the map you want and then type "changelevel de_aztec" (because we want aztec instead of the level we were looking for =)). I'm using 1.0.0.36, and that works fine for Update Maplist... That's the English version though. Not sure if there's any difference... Also, what's a Card? I suppose it's a tab? Since it's HLSW, I assume it's a bug and you should have a look on http://www.hlsw.de for an update (in the forums there should be a beta version). - Bruce "Bahamut" Andrews Martin Sommerfeld wrote: Hi Folk, i cant change the map with a simple doubleclick on it in hlsw, because i dont get a list of maps in the Card "Level wechseln" (Change Level). Hello, I'm new to this mailing list, so pleasse excuse any syntactic errors i might do ;) Spend now hours of reading old threads about this topic, but couldt find threads in the last time. I would like to host some steam servers, and Im now wondering wheather i should take an amd or intel system. I made good experiences (cpu usage) with: intel p4 3ghz 1MB !! L2 cache very bad experience with: intel p4 3,06ghz 512kbyte l2 cache Dual amd MP 2600+ Made those experiences at lan parties, and on the internet. Just cacelled the mp box :P Now id like to know which kind of cpu u guys can recommand, and how i should compile my kernel for it? Just "default" at 100hz with pingboost 3, or 500/1000hz without pingboost at all? Havent tried that hz thing yet, just got on it in this mailing list. (but old threads, 2003..) Re: [hlds_linux] Source question for the guru's
That's what I'm seeing is the wierd part. I get than during normal gameplay, but when I'm specing someone else in a heated battle, with the brass, sounds and impact graphics, it's smooth as silk. I would expect that normal gameplay would be the smooth and spectator would be the chopped one since it "should" be using less frames. -- Micheal Patterson Senior Communications Systems Engineer 405-917-0600 Confidentiality Notice: This e-mail message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
