I know that central spam lists of IP and email server exist. I'm
wondering if anyone has started something like this for steam Ids?

I think you must have heard of steambans? The DB isn't downloadable
(seriously if you have that many IDs in your banned.cfg mapchanges
would take a century :P) a plugin is used instead.

for that. However, I hear from Kevin they have stopped taking new ban
submissions due to the steamid misassignment bugs.

[hlds_linux] hlds_l going offline, process still running

I have a problem with a cs1.6 server and I'm afraid I have it with
serveral of them, but, well, I have to make that clear.

Thing is: they suddenly apear offline but processes (hlds_run,
hlds_i686) are still running.

This is my command line:

./hlds_run -game cstrike +exec server.cfg +maxplayers 12 +ip
xx.xxx.xx.xx +port 27050 +map de_dust2 -autoupdate -pingboost 1

Any ideas?

How do you check that it's offline? If you check it with an
external program, make sure you're not IP banned ;)

Try running hlds with the -debug option. Maybe that
will give more info about something.
