Worth a try, though. Either that or set it explicitly to 0 rounds.

There's some setting there that's making the game play a set number of
rounds. Could you post your server.cfg?

2006-03-22 Thread Gamefuel Support

If you are really desparate to have a workaround for this you could
easily make a script that changes the map after a certain time using
Mattie's eventscripts.

es_delayed seconds command-string

Will execute the command-string after the seconds have elapsed.

What happens when you remove the pingboost option?

You could also try to set the maxvalues to 0. Which means that they can
have any max value.

How do you know its lagging?

Nope, doesn't work. Only works if all die at the same time.
Neither does mp_maxrounds 1.

I do have a server.cfg, but it's near empty. No sv and mp settings.

So its a feeling of lag you encounter and no real data to clarify whats
happening? like drops, choke, spikes? Are you running HTT and SMP? cpu
usage/spikes?

I am no Linux expert, but depending on your distro there can be some OS
related switches that might cause issues. But you probably need some other
guru in this list for that.
