Re: [hlds_linux] problem in nosteam when trying to add server to Favorites

2006-03-30 Thread William Warren

You are not going to be able to since nosteam servers do not access the
internet. Only if they are on the same lan as you will you be able to
access them.

I do believe selling Steam accounts is against the agreement we never
read. Puts a smile on my face in this case.

Considering how you chose to voice that displeasure in a thoughtfull,

  [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Note to the
  community:

DON'T speak out about Valve or their fucked up practices with us as
  their labrats.

They disabled my STEAM account for voicing their consistently
degrading quality since they've taken over the game. Every major
gaming site on the internet says it all in full detail but DON'T say
it here or they'll disable your account just like they did mine.
I've been reading a few larger gaming community sites today and it
seems that how you REALLY feel is not unique but DON'T voice it here!

  Say goodbye to STEAM_0:1:

Thanks Valve...you fucking PUSSIES!!! How about somebody begrudged in
the company shoot me the home address of Alfred Reynolds. All
information related to where these punks actually LIVE would be
  appreciated and well rewarded.

Re: [hlds_linux] Stats showing CPU as 0?

2006-03-30 Thread Craig Moore
Depending on a number of things, it's not exactly an uncommon thing.
Mine's shown as 0 for over a year on my FreeBSD servers. I'm willing
to guess it's because of Debian, but I can't verify that. Just
responding quickly so you'll know you're not the only one seeing this.

Craig Moore

On FreeBSD it will more than likely be you dont have proc mounted
or linproc as I believe HL gets its info from there.

Re: [hlds_linux] Stats showing CPU as 0?

2006-03-30 Thread kama

It doesnt matter if I enable linproc, it will still not work... dunno why,
since other gameserver are able to get the reading correctly. So its
probably just a small change to make it work in FreeBSD.

(It could have changed in a later patch. Have not checked it recently)
