Re: [hlds_linux] Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket
Research methods one of them is to reboot. Another is to delete some files in person steam client. But here more info about the error from steam: http://supportwiki.steampowered.com/wiki/Error_verifying_STEAM_UserID_ticket (The reboot is usually the best) Rom1 [FFF-Dod] skrev: > Bonjour Christophe, > >Yep ! Re: [hlds_linux] TF2 Delisting Information
Then the user use his favourite tab, the server will still be in there. As Erik said, the score do not measure how good the server is so showing "quality servers only" would just be untruthful since there is no reason to believe only quality servers will be shown. It is made to identify bad servers, remove them and that’s it. On Tue, Mar 17, 2009 at 11:04 AM, Colton English wrote: > Evaldas Zilinskas make a valid point. Re: [hlds_linux] TF2 Delisting Information
Evaldas Zilinskas make a valid point. What if a technically chalenged user want's to play a delisted server because they are used to it? I dont' think they would want to have to connect manually... My girlfriend using my server which I don't care if it gets listed or not would be a example. She's not really the type that likes to learn this stuff On Tue, Mar 17, 2009 at 1:12 AM, Evaldas Žilinskas < hlds_li...@gameconnect.lt> wrote: > Anyway, I would suggest just adding “Quality Servers” filter on server > browser. Re: [hlds_linux] TF2 Delisting Information
Anyway, I would suggest just adding “Quality Servers” filter on server browser. Like VAC or “IS NOT FULL”. Then anyone would be happy. For example, I always use the “VAC – Enabled” filter and never play on insecure servers. So how about making this “delisting” thing a user choice ? - Original Message - From: "Erik Johnson" To: "Half-Life dedicated Linux server mailing list" Sent: Monday, March 16, 2009 11:50 PM Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] TF2 Delisting Information > I'm pretty official. > > -Original Message- > From: hlds_linux-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com > [mailto:hlds_linux-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com] On Behalf Of Dustin > Doiron > Sent: Monday, March 16, 2009 1:42 PM > To: Half-Life dedicated Linux server mailing list > Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] TF2 Delisting Information > > Will there be an official way to appeal an action? > > On Mon, Mar 16, 2009 at 4:24 PM, Erik Johnson > wrote: > >> You can mail me if that happens. >> >> -Original Message- >> From: hlds_linux-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com [mailto: >> hlds_linux-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com] On Behalf Of David A.
