Your server must run like crap - but hey, low cpu usage though ;) - Marcel ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
Re: [hlds_linux] Counter-Strike 1.6 Beta
You should only use the -sys_ticrate command line option if you want to prevent the sys_ticrate cvar working while in game (this feature has been requested by GSP's). So unless you want to forcefully clamp the value don't add the command line value. - Alfred > -Original Message- > From: hlds_linux-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com [mailto:hlds_linux- > boun...@list.valvesoftware.com] On Behalf Of Marcel > Sent: Wednesday, June 17, 2009 11:59 PM > To: Half-Life dedicated Linux server mailing list > Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] Counter-Strike 1.6 Beta > > Alfred Reynolds wrote: > > - Added -sys_ticrate command line option to allowed forced override > of ticrate > > Can the sys_ticrate be changed later e.g. via rcon anyway like today, > or > will it be forced everytime, like tickrate in HL2? > > > - Marcel > > > ___ > To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, > please visit: > http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux

Re: [hlds_linux] [hlds] Counter-Strike 1.6 Beta
Confirm Works fine. I've set some of my servers the -sys_ticrate 300 option and console still reports "sys_ticrate" is 1000" as set in server.cfg, but stats report that fps do not go over 290. - Original Message - From: "Alfred Reynolds" To: "Half-Life dedicated Win32 server mailing list" ; "Half-Life dedicated Linux server mailing list" Sent: Thursday, June 18, 2009 1:30 AM Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] [hlds] Counter-Strike 1.6 Beta Yes, some of the updates do apply to all HL1 servers (on both win32 and linux) so please do try it out. > -Original Message- > From: hlds-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com [mailto:hlds- > boun...@list.valvesoftware.com] On Behalf Of Robert Whelan > Sent: Wednesday, June 17, 2009 3:11 PM > To: Half-Life dedicated Win32 server mailing list; Half-Life dedicated > Linux server mailing list > Subject: Re: [hlds] Counter-Strike 1.6 Beta > > Hey Alfred, > > Is this like the Half-Life 1 Engine beta hlds0319 update?
