[hlds_linux] TF2 Server Locks Up
One of my TF2 servers locked up last night. I've seen the problem before and it seems to randomly happen once every few weeks on one of my servers. I took two separate back traces while the server was stuck and they look like the same problem that I've seen before. It looks like it's getting stuck in SetModel when a sentry gun is upgraded. I don't run SourceMod or Meta Mod. So we have connection to vac servers but only thing that doesn't work is the unclockables. Is there any way to manually renew the connection to item(?) servers so unlockables would get on on-the-fly or during next map change? It could prove some valuable information or error why it isnt working properly. -ics John McCaskey kirjoitti: The Steam code has logic to fall back to TCP instead of UDP for the Steam connection if the UDP connection has failed repeatedly. Perhaps you have iptables rules or a firewall that is only allowing UDP outbound to port 27017 (the Steam authentication/item/vac servers)? If that's the case then you should unblock TCP and the reliability of your connection will be improved. But auto-reconnection to steam servers worked some 2-3 updates ago and now again doesnt work..
